If you are in this group I would be interested to find about it.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;Which ever group you are in there are a few facts that you cannot get away from.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;We get our energy from food and drink.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Energy contained in food is measured in calories.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Different foods contain different amounts of energy.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The amount of energy in any particular food is given in calories per 100 grams.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;One food might contain 50 calories per 100g and another might contain 500 calories per 100g.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;On average a person will use between 2000 to 3000 calories per day.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The body converts excess energy/calories to FAT and stores it.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sugar contains high amounts of energy, calories.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Fat contains twice as much energy as sugar.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;For weight control avoid foods high in both fats and sugars.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Look at the calorie content per 100g on the food label.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Choose low energy foods, NOT just low fat foods.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To lose weight we need to use more calories per day than we consume.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;Great; so how do we do that?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“Move more, eat less”. Have you heard that before?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here’s the good news; it’s true.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why is that good? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No matter what else you read or hear, there is no getting away from the science; one pound of fat contains 3500 calories. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are three variables in weight loss&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;The amount of calories you consume per day&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The amount of calories you burn at rest, your metabolic rate.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The amount of exercise you get daily.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you take in less calories than you use per day you will lose weight.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That's scientific fact. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So what was the purpose of all of the above.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you are to ever stick with a weight loss program you need to know that it will work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If there is any doubt in your mind then you will fail.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So get it in your head that weight loss programs work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now we have established that you can lose weight, we need to find a way for you to make it happen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What you really need is inspiration, passion and motivation to get going and keep going until the job is done. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If the title below appeals to you, if it's something that you can identify with then click on it and learn more. Getting Started: Over Coming Procrastination&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That’s what I’m here for; I 'm going to help you with that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well the first thing I’m going to tell you is that any good diet plan, that suits your lifestyle, will do. To Keep Going after the Initial Enthusiasm has Disappeared.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;This is determined by several factors&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Do you beleive you can lose weight?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Are you enjoying the process?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Does the program fit your lifestyle?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Are you addressing the underlieing reasons for the weight gain?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Do you have something in your life that you are passionate about?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Who are your friends?
